Purpose of this guide
The purpose of this guide is to help you in implementing and using Q2 Loan Servicing as your loan servicing platform.
This guide explains how to install and configure Q2 Loan Servicing, and describes its integration with third party tools. It describes the setups required to configure the different settings, lending products, loan parameters, fractionalization, fund movement and bank details, and batch jobs.
Intended audience
This guide is intended for system administrators and implementers of Q2 Loan Servicing.
Prerequisites for use
This guide assumes knowledge of the Salesforce platform, basic familiarity with loan servicing concepts, the Q2 Loan Servicing product, and the Windows platform.
Organization
The guide describes various configuration setups that the system administrator needs to perform.
Introduction
Provides an overview of the Q2 Loan Servicing application, its capabilities and integrations with other products and applications.
Installation
Provides information on installing any prerequisite packages and Q2 Loan Servicing.
Salesforce Setup
Provides information on customizing the Salesforce setups for your company and business requirements, such as, creating and managing users and permissions, setting up business days, calendars and the home page of the Q2 Loan Servicing application, and defining approval workflows for use while approving loans.
Servicing Configuration
Provides information about the configuration of loan products and associated functions, such as setting up lending product, fee, company, accounts, and commission plans.
The chapters that follow provide descriptions of what system administrators can do to configure other setups, along with detailed procedures for each such task. The field descriptions for each page are given at the end of the respective procedure.
Glossary
Provides an alphabetical list of concepts and definitions relevant to a loan.
