A business event is any scenario for which accounting entries and rules may be set up. For example, loan disbursement, investor payout, or payment reversal.

You can use the business event along with the payment mode, while defining the automated payment configuration, to specify the Filegen class for processing the transactions of that business type.

Steps

Perform the following steps to define the business events:

1. Log in to your Salesforce account.

2. Click Servicing Configuration.

3. Go to Misc., Manage.

4. Click Business Events.

   The List of Business Events page is displayed.

5. Click Define New Business Event.

   The New Business Event page is displayed.

6. Specify the Business Event Name.

7. Click Save.

   The business event is displayed in the Business Event Detail page.
