Modify the Page Layout
Overview
This section describes the common steps to modify a page layout.
Steps
To modify a page layout to add fields, related lists, or VisualForce pages:
Log in to the Q2 Loan Servicing application.
In the Quick Find box, search for Object Manager, and then click it.
Click on the object name to be modified, for example, CL Contract.
On the page that appears, click Page Layouts.
In the Page Layouts list, click on the layout to be changed, for example, Loan Account Layout.
To add Visualforce pages:
From the list on the left-hand side panel, select Visualforce Pages. The available Visualforce help pages are displayed on the right.
Navigate to the required section of the layout and drag and drop the required Visualforce page in the section. For example, in the Funding section, drag and drop the FundingHelpPage page to view the context-sensitive help on Funding.
Adjust the width and height of the added help page field, if required, for optimal text display.
To add a field to a layout:
From the list on the left-hand side panel, select Fields. The available fields are displayed on the right.
Navigate to the required section of the layout and drag and drop the field in that section.
To add a button to a layout:
From the list on the left-hand side panel, select Buttons. The available buttons are displayed on the right.
Navigate to the buttons list on the layout and drag and drop the custom button at that location.
To add a related list to a layout:
From the list on the left-hand side panel, select Related Lists. The available related lists are displayed on the right.
Navigate to the required location on the page and drag and drop the related list at that location.
Click Save to save the layout.
