Enable Loan Features

Overview

You can enable the availability of certain features in CL Loan with the help of Enable Loan Features of Custom Settings. This helps in improving performance by excluding features that you do not want to use. For example, if a customer does not want to use the Master Facility feature, then the system can exclude internal processes related to that feature. This would help in improving the overall performance of the product.

Steps

To enable the availability of certain features in CL Loan:

1. Log in to your Salesforce Account.

2. Go to (Setup) > Setup

3. In the Quick Find box, search for Custom Settings, and then click it.

4. Go to Enable Loan Features > Manage > Edit.

   Note:

   If you do not see Edit, click New.

   

5. Select the following checkboxes to enable the corresponding feature:

   Select	To Enable
   Add Capitalized Amount To Principal	The usage of Payment in Kind.
   Business Hours On Contract	The Business Hours at the contract level.
   Master Facility	The usage of Master Facility in Q2 Loan Servicing.
   Promotion Rate	The usage of Promotions in Q2 Loan Servicing.
   Automated Consolidated Payment	The usage of Automated Consolidated Payments in a Master Facility.

6. Click Save.

   This enables the selected loan feature in your org.
