Suspending a fee

With CL Loan, you can suspend a fee for a fixed or indefinite period of time. The suspended fee remains inactive for the defined time period and that particular charge is not created on a contract. For example a fee of type Late Charge is suspended for a contract, then even if a bill is overdue, the charge is not created in the system.

Prerequisites

  • The fee to be suspended must be active.

  • The fee to be suspended must be a part of the contract.

Steps

To suspend a fee, perform the following steps:

  1. On the CL Contract page, click Suspend Fee.

    The Suspend Fee page appears.

  2. In the Suspended Fees Config section, select the fee that you want to suspend, and the time period for it.

  3. Click Save.

    The selected fee is suspended for the defined time period.

    The suspended fee is listed under the Suspended Fees tab.
