Delete a Document Category
You can delete a document category by selecting it and selecting the Delete Document Categoryoption from the Action list. The system asks you to confirm the deletion and refreshes the document categories list. If you have uploaded documents for the deleted document category, these also get removed. However, these remain in the system for re-upload.

Steps
To delete a document category:
Log in to your Salesforce account.
Go to (App Launcher) > Applications.
On the Applications tab, and from the list of applications, select the required application.
The loan dashboard is displayed.
Select the Documentstab.
Select the required document category and go to Action and select Delete Document Categoryto delete the document category.
Select Ok to confirm the deletion. The selected document category is deleted for the application.
Re-associate a deleted document category
Prerequisites
Before you begin to re-associate a deleted document category with an application, ensure that the following prerequisite is met:
The Application Document Categorytab is added and enabled.
A system administrator can now select the Application Document Category tab and view all Application Document Category records in Q2 Origination. Though the administrator may need to configure a view, the records can be sorted by Application to locate the appropriate set of Application Document Category records. The following instructions assume that the administrator is using the "All" view and the Application field is available on this view. It also assumes, for the purposes of this example, that the deleted document category is "2015 Tax Return":
Log in to your Salesforce account.
Go to (App Launcher) > Application Document Category.
Select All from the Select a List View picklist.
Sort by Application.
Tab through the pages until you locate the required application.
Locate and select Application Document Category Name: for example, if you had deleted the 2015 Tax Return category from the loan application, locate it here.
Select Edit.
Select the Active checkbox.
Select Save.
Returning the document category to an Active state makes it appear on the document category list again. You can now add it to the loan application again.
