Salesforce files support
Salesforce files provide better capabilities for sharing and collaborating on files with other users, groups, or records and for managing version updates. It also supports file previews and unifies all the account files, documents, and attachments into a single system. This helps in easier management and collaboration of documents.
With the Lithium release of Q2 Origination, you can upload, manage and store the documents as Salesforce files, unlike attachments as before. This enables financial institutions to leverage the benefits of Salesforce files, such as supporting multiple file-formats and versioning each file. This enhancement is enabled in both existing and new accounts, and the existing attachments in the accounts are not altered and continue to display as attachments.
Supported Formats
The following file formats are supported in Salesforce file types:

Specifications
Following are the specifications to upload or attach a file or a document:
Maximum File Size:
2 GB when uploaded via the web interface.
100 MB when uploaded from a mobile device.
A maximum number of versions per file: 2,048 versions.
The default file access type is Read or View.
In Internet Explorer 11, the preview option redirects to the file detail page.
Verify Salesforce File Support

Steps
To verify the Salesforce file support on an application:
Log in to your Salesforce account.
Go to
(App Launcher) > Applications.
On the Applications tab, and from the list of applications, select the required application.
The loan dashboard is displayed.
Select the Documents tab.
Select the Documents hyperlink and then select the Account name.
In the Notes & Attachments section, select View All.
Select View File Details to view the file details.
The preview and the file details are displayed for the selected file.
Note:If the file size is larger than 25 MB, the preview option is not available, and the file appears as a generic file type icon.
