Investment Product

An Investment Product in CL Loan is a template used to define the investment order of an investor. It defines the rules, default settings, and constraints for the investment order. You can apply an investment product to any number of investment orders. 

Creating an Investment Product

Prerequisites

The following are the prerequisites for creating an investment product:

• An Investment Product tab is created.

  Note:

  To create a custom tab, refer to Create and Add a tab to a Page.

• A rate schedule is defined and attached to this Investment Product if you want to allow flexible rates to be included in an investment order product.

  Note:

  To attach a rate schedule to an investment order product, refer to Defining Flexible Rate Schedules for an Investment Product section in Rate Schedule Setup.

Steps

Perform the following steps to create an investment product:

1. Log in to your Salesforce account.

2. In the App Launcher, click View All.

3. In the All Items section, click Investment Products.

4. Click Create New Investment Product.

5. In the New Investment Product window, specify the details as described in the following table, and then click Save.

   Field Name	Action
   Investment Product Name	Specify an investment product name.
   Certificate Rate	Specify the certificate rate for an investment product. This can be changed.
   Flexible Rates	Select this to allow flexible rate schedules on the investment product.

   A new investment product is created.
