Define the Company Information
Overview
The Company Information section consists of details that you provide while applying for your Salesforce license. However, if the information in this section is not updated for any given reason, perform the steps listed below to set up the company information. This page also displays the number and types of user licenses you have acquired.
Prerequisites
Before defining the company profile, ensure that the following prerequisite is met:
A Salesforce account is created.
Steps
To define the company profile:
Log in to your Salesforce account.
Click your Username.
Click Setup.
Go to Administer.
Click Company Profile.
Click Company Information to view the Organization Edit page.
Specify the Organization Name, Primary Contact, and Phone and Fax details.
Specify the company Address.
Select the Locale Settings. These define the default timezone and language that is used to display time and exchange communication.
Specify Currency Settings. All transactions in the system are displayed based on the Currency Locale you select here.
Select the Allow Support to Activate Multiple Currencies checkbox to enable support for multiple currency. CL Loan uses only the currency selected during setup.
Click Save to save the defined company profile.
