Trigger and Event Control Configuration

Purpose

This configuration enables you to skip the features that automatically run from triggers related to Application, Party, Application Collateral, Account, and Collateral. You can choose one or more application statuses for which you want to skip these features. Additionally, you must select the CL Product for which the applications must adhere to this configuration.

Creation of Trigger and Event Control Configuration

To enable the Enable Trigger and Event Control Org Parameters, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to your Salesforce account.

  2. Go to Setup > Setup.

  3. In the Quick Find box, search for Custom Settings and select it.

  4. Select Org Parameters with the namespace prefix (genesis), and select Manage.

  5. Select Edit, and then select the  Enable Trigger and Event Control checkbox.

  6. Select Save.

Steps

To create Trigger and Event Control Configuration:

  1. Log in to your Salesforce account.

  2. Go to  (App Launcher) > Origination Configuration > Trigger and Event Control Configuration.

  3. On the Trigger and Event Control Configuration page, select New.

  4. Provide the details as described in the following table, and then select Save:

    Note:

    All the fields in this configuration are mandatory.

Field NameDescription
CL Product

This field references the CL Product for which the application must control various features from triggers.

Application Status

This field allows users to configure multiple application statuses on which the configured features can be skipped.

Note:

The features can be configured by using Features to Skip field.

The supported options are:

  • All Statuses

  • APPROVED - CONVERTED TO CONTRACT

  • APPROVED - DOCUMENT CHECK

  • NEW - CREDIT PULLED

  • NEW - ENTERED

  • NEW - IN CREDIT CHECK

  • NEW - IN REVIEW

  • NEW - PRICING GENERATED

  • NEW - SCORECARD GENERATED

  • NEW - CHECKLIST GENERATED

  • NEW-SUBMITTED

  • NEW - VEHICLE VALUATION REQUIRED

  • REJECTED

  • PULL CREDIT

  • CLOSING DOCUMENTS GENERATED

  • WITHDRAWN

  • CREDIT OFFER ACCEPTED

Features to Skip

This field lists the features that should be skipped from triggers based on a given application status.

The supported options are:

  • All Features

  • Policy Condition Generation

  • Policy Condition Resolution

  • Task Creation

  • Task Completion

  • Document Category Creation

  • Approval Instance Creation

  • Send Notifications

The following table consists of features executed by each event which are considered to be skipped from different triggers:
