Calendar configuration setup
To create a calendar configuration record, follow the steps:
Prerequisites
Before you proceed to define a calendar configuration, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
Calendar configuration tab is added to the org
If the calendar configuration tab is not available, perform the below steps:
Go to (Setup) > Setup > Quick Find box, search for Tabs and select it.
Select New and specify the following details:
Object: Calendar Configuration
Tab Style: Choose any
Select Next, Next, and Save.
Start of Year field is added in the page layout
If this field is not available in the UI, navigate to Object Manager > Calendar Configuration (genesis__Calendar_Configuration__c) object > Page Layout > Calendar configuration Layout > and drag and drop the Start of Year field in the Calendar Configuration Detail section and select Save.
Steps
To define a covenant:
Log in to your Salesforce account.
Go to (App Launcher) > Sales > Calendar Configuration.
On the Calendar Configuration page, select New.
On the New Calendar Configuration page, provide the details as described in the following table, and then select Save.
Field Name Action and Information Start of Year This new field represents the start date of the calendar year.
