The following section briefly describes the known issue in this release.
Option to provide a default placeholder text to the picklistautocomplete field type (Jira ID: PDRFF-3268)
Issue Description
The Portal administrators were unable to set the default placeholder text for the picklistautocomplete and multiPicklistAutocomplete field types. The system was considering the first value of the picklist as the placeholder text.
Workaround
Add an additional value in the picklist with the text such as "Select an Option" and assign the value to the defaultValue property. You also need to add the validation that the portal users must change and select any other value from the picklist options.
