Platinum Release Notes
1. Preface
This is a living document, and its contents may be updated often. Make sure that you have the latest version for use.
This document provides information about the new and enhanced functionality in Q2 Portal, Platinum General Availability (GA) release. You can access the release notes of the previous releases from the Q2 Customer Portal or from the Q2 Lending Help Center.
The contents of this document are applicable to all the customers who have installed the Q2 PortalPlatinum version (3.6) for the first time or have upgraded from an earlier version.
1.1 Purpose of this Document
This document provides information on the following for the Platinum release:

The audience of this document includes business users, implementers, and system administrators.

This document assumes a basic knowledge of the product concepts, the product release, and the Salesforce platform.

2. Introduction

3. Installation Information
Contact your Q2 Professional Services team or the Customer Success team for information on the package dependency and installation order of the packages required to install and set up the latest version of Q2 Portal.
4. Upgrade Considerations

5. System Performance

6. New Features and Enhancements
This section briefly describes the new features and enhancements added in the Platinum release of Q2 Portal.

6.1 New Features
6.1.1 Document Handling for Policy Exceptions (Jira ID: CP-1865/CP-1607)
Feature Description
This feature allows a portal user to upload document(s) in Portal in relation to a policy exception that requires additional document(s) during the review of a submitted application in Q2 Origination.
Known bug on this feature where only a single document is linked when multiple documents are uploaded. [CP-2003/ GD-4628]
6.1.2 Agent View (Jira ID: CP-1867/CP-1878)
Feature Description
This feature allows a back-office user in Origination to complete an application on behalf of a borrower by initiating an application via the borrower portal. It does this by providing the option to bypassing the access record filter.
6.1.3 Large Document Upload (Jira ID: CP-1960)
Feature Description
This feature allows the uploading of large (>25MB) documents.
6.1.4 Case-insensitive Sorting (Jira ID: CP-1918)
Feature Description
This feature allows the user to sort list without regard for capitalization, so he can see a truly alphabetized list.
6.1.5 Display Server-Side Error Message When Uploading Doc as Attachment (Jira ID: CP-1942)
Feature Description
This feature enables a server-side error message to be displayed on the UI if the API responds with an error message during document upload.
6.1.6 Include Portal Global Variable in Disclosure (Jira ID: CP-1967)
Feature Description
The feature allows users to add a global variable in the disclosure feature.
6.2 Enable Pre/Post Process JS Extension to Query and Save Action (Jira ID: CP-1941)
Feature Description
This feature allows pre-processing of data before it is sent to the remote API. The post-processing allows data to be processed immediately after the remote API responds and before it is consumed by the Portal framework.
6.2.1 Retain Custom JS and CSS Files during Upgrades (Jira ID: CP-1977)
Feature Description
Custom JavaScript(s) and CSS files added to the Portal_js_css_files_to_load/ Portal_js_css_files_to_load_mui were previously removed during upgrades. They will now be retained.
6.2.2 Ability to Switch to Static Resource if the CDN Link is Down (Jira ID: CP-1943)
Feature Description
This feature allows Portal to switch to static resource if the CDN link is down as to avoid downtime.
6.3 Developer Tools
6.3.1 Application Map
Feature Description
This feature opens a left-hand sidebar which includes the stage and actor structure of the Portal application. Actors are grouped by stages. This removes the need to add dummy buttons to Portal pages.
6.3.2 Json Diff Tool (Jira ID: CP-1552)
Feature Description
This feature enhances the Json Diff feature to only highlight affected Json between the client and latest server-side Portal document.
6.4 New UI Features
6.4.1 Badge (Jira ID: CP-1945)
Feature Description
This feature provides the option to add a badge to tabs/steps and Actions.
6.4.2 MUI Pop Over (Jira ID: CP-1925)
Feature Description
This feature allows Portal to now specify the size (width & height) of overlay modal dialog.
6.4.3 Dynamic Container (Jira ID: CP-1683)
Feature Description
This feature adds to the configurability of pages by allowing the insertion of sections based on user selections. For instance, if the user elects to add a co-applicant, a separate section can be progressively rendered to only appear when co-applicant information is needed.

There are no new objects added in the Platinum release of Q2 Portal.

12. Post GA Release

12.1 Issue fixed in May 24 patch
12.1.1 Google Places API Issue (Jira IDs: CP-2616)
Fixed Version
Q2 Portal version 3.6.3
Issue Description
When a user enters the address details in Q2 Portal, Q2 Portal uses the Places API provided by Google to auto-complete the address.
To provide better results to users, Google has introduced a new version of the Places API and communicated that the older versions are planned to be deprecated. To ensure that Q2 Portal continues to work after the older versions of the Places API are deprecated, the Places API version in Q2 Portal needs to be updated.
Resolution
The Places API version in Q2 Portal is updated to the latest available version. Perform the following steps to upgrade Q2 Portal to the latest patched version.
Steps
Log in to your Salesforce account.
Open the Configuration Manager application from the App Launcher ().
On the Configuration Manager tab, go to CL Portal > Available Upgrades.
On the Available Upgrades tab, In the Enter User Credentials section, specify the AWS access key and access secret.
Note:You can use the existing AWS keys.
In the Enter Version section, in the Version box, specify 3.6.3 to upgrade Q2 Portal to the specified patch release.
Select Save.
After a successful upgrade, a success message is displayed.
12.2 Issues fixed in August 7 patches
12.2.1 Portal with large number of Actors and Actions not saving from Portal Builder (Jira ID: CP-2531)
Fixed Version
Q2 Portal version 3.6.2
CL Common version 3.6003.26
Issue Description
A Portal Administrator is not able to save a Portal version from the Portal Builder if the Portal version has more than 400 Actors or 800 Actions.
Resolution
The code is improved to allow a Portal Administrator to save a Portal version with up to 430 Actors and 850 Actions.
