Consolidated Delinquency

Overview

If a borrower has multiple loans, the financial institution would need to view a consolidated report of the delinquency details across all the contracts of the borrower. This consolidated view gives the picture of the delinquency status of the borrower.

Generate Consolidated Delinquency

You can view the delinquency information across all the contracts at the contact or the account level.

Prerequisites

Org Params > Generate Consolidated Delinquency checkbox is selected.

Steps

To generate consolidated delinquency, do the following:

Log in to your Salesforce account.
On the Servicing Configuration tab, in the Batch Jobs section, click Run Batch Jobs, and then run the following jobs:
Note: In order to run the following jobs, the loan.DelinquencyProcessingDynamicJob must be run before these jobs.
- Delinquency Consolidation On Account
- Delinquency Consolidation On Contact
Note: These batch jobs can also be scheduled to be run as part of the DAG. To run them as part of DAG, you need to add them to the DAG chain. To know how to do that, see Configure DAG
On the CL Contract tab, select a contract, then select the account or the contact. The delinquency information of all the contracts for the selected contact or account, is displayed under the Related > CL Contracts section (as shown in the 1st image). The consolidated delinquency information is displayed under the Related > Delinquency Details section (as shown in the 2nd image).
To view the details of the consolidated delinquency , click View All.The Delinquency Details page displays the details as described in the Delinquency Details Field Reference table.

Configure DAG

You must configure DAG to add the related batch jobs to the DAG chain.

To configure DAG, follow the steps in DAG Configuration. While following these steps, in the second step, Create a Job, provide the following batch job class names in the Class field:

Example of Consolidated Delinquency

In the following example, the contact Tim Barr has multiple contracts, with different delinquency status. You can view the delinquency information for each contract, and also consolidated at the contact level.

Delinquency Details Field Reference

Field	Description
Aging	Number of delinquency days of the most delinquent contract of all the contracts of the contact or account.
Maximum Days Overdue	Maximum number of overdue days out of all the contracts of the contact or account.
Oldest Unpaid Due Date	Due date of the oldest unpaid bill of all the unpaid bills of the contact or the account.
Total Delinquent Amount	Total delinquent amount of all the contracts of the contact or the account.
Status	Consolidated delinquency status of all the contracts of the contact or the account. If all the contracts are in Active Good Standing then the Status is Active Good Standing. If even one contract is in Active Bad Standing then the Status is Active Bad Standing.
