Investor payment reversal
When a loan repayment transaction is made, the Investor Payout Job runs and an investor payment is created. Suppose the loan repayment is reversed. In such a case, the lender must reverse the associated investor payments. This is done using the Investor Payout Reversal job.
The Investor Payout Reversal job runs after the Investor Payout Job and it checks if there are any loan repayments which are reversed on a given day.
- If there are any loan repayments reversed in that day, it reverses the corresponding Investor payment.
- If there are no loan repayments reversed in that day, the Investor Payout Reversal job runs but does not reverse any loan repayment and processes the empty set.
When the Investor Payout job is run, the Transaction Code changes to Payment Approval. This is changed to Payment Reversed when the Investor Payout Reversal Job runs. Go to Accounts, Recent Accounts, Account name, Transactions to view the change in the Transaction Code.
The investor payout reversal job reverts the status of the investment order to Active, whenever the last LPT is reversed.
