Notes and Messages
After the loan team is created, using the icon, the team members can chat and exchange information about an application in real-time. The communication logs are maintained with the application for future reference. Currently, the team members can share only text messages.
Notes
The Notes feature allows the team members to add the details that they wish to maintain as part of important notes.
Messages
The Loan team members can reply to a post or enter a comment for the entire team by using the Messages icon. When you reply to a post, the sender's name is already included in your reply. You can add more recipients by typing @ followed by their name—for example, @xyz. You can add a member only once to a message, and you cannot send a message to yourself. The list of available members displays Salesforce users and community users associated with the parties (added to the application).
The loan team communication is stored with the application and is especially useful to track the decisions, exceptions, and approvals made for the application.
Both comments and replies can be viewed by everyone on the team. An email notification containing the message is sent to the team members who are referred in the messages. Your system administrator can modify the default email templates as per your business requirement. To know where to view the configured email template and modify it, see Q2 Origination Administration Guide > Loan Team Message Email.
