Purpose of this Guide
Welcome to Q2 Origination! This guide contains information that will help you set up Q2 Origination for lease, loan, and line of credit origination and underwriting.
Q2 Origination is a highly configurable solution for origination and underwriting for online lending and workflow-intensive commercial lending, which allows workflow formations according to the unique needs of a loan's life cycle.
Q2 Origination supports the following key capabilities for consumer lending, commercial lending, and equipment leasing customers:

The purpose of this guide is to help you in extending Q2 Origination's origination and underwriting platform in your respective organizations.
This guide explains how to install and configure Q2 Origination, describes its integration with third-party tools. It describes how to set up scorecards, rate cards, credit evaluating methods, and reports and dashboards. You can also learn about the application interfaces that you can use to extend the Q2 Origination functionality.
This guide also includes cumulative information of the features from the previous releases. For the description of specific changes made to a release, see the Change record section.
Intended audience
This guide is intended for system administrators and implementers of Q2 Origination.
Prerequisites for use
This guide assumes knowledge of the Salesforce platform, and basic familiarity with loan origination concepts, the Q2 Origination product, and the Windows platform.

Provides an overview of the Q2 Origination application, its capabilities and integrations with other products and applications.
Installation
Provides information on installing any prerequisite packages and Q2 Origination.
Salesforce Setup
Provides information on customizing the Salesforce setups for your company and business requirements, such as, creating and managing users and permissions, setting up business days, calendars and the home page of Q2 Origination application and defining the workflows for use while originating loan and lease applications.
Origination Configuration
Provides information about configuration of workflows for application processing, templates for lending products, and the due diligence framework for evaluation of applications. It describes the steps to set up companies, the deal room, and the loan dashboard, and to generate pricing options for an application.
The chapters that follow provide descriptions of what system administrators can do to configure other setups, along with detailed procedures for each such task. The field descriptions for each page are given at the end of the respective procedure.

Provides an alphabetical list of concepts and definitions relevant to Q2 Origination.
