Import Seed Data Manually

After you install Q2 Origination 2.1000 or later, seed data such as Legal Entity Type, Asset Class, Collateral Type, and Party Type must be imported into Q2 Origination.

The post-install script: genesis.PostInstallManager.createSeedDataOnInstall(); autoruns to set up the seed data in your org. However, if you are setting up your org or the script does not run successfully, you can manually run it to import the seed data.

Steps

To run the script and import the seed data:

  1. Launch Developer Console.

  2. Select the Debug menu.

  3. From the drop down, select Execute Anonymous Window.

  4. Specify the genesis.PostInstallManager.createSeedDataOnInstall(); script.

  5. To import the seed data into Q2 Origination, select Execute.
