Dashboard Setup

In a lending organization, after a loan or a lease application is created, it is reviewed and processed at each stage before it is finally accepted or rejected. A stage also known as department, is a logical grouping of tasks in a Q2 Origination workflow, such as Application Qualification, Underwriting, and so on. Tasks are the actions that are needed to be done to process an application such as, Identity Verification, Documents Collection, and so on. These stages decide the order in which an application should be processed. 

Example:

The dashboard of an application lists the stages it has to go through for processing, along with the tasks needed for completion of each stage. By default, only one top-level node signifying the current stage of the application is expanded. For example, if the application is currently at the Underwriting stage, then only the Underwriting node is expanded. 

Q2 Origination also provides you the flexibility to add auto close tasks for any new third party integrations you do, and tasks that are required based on the specific loan's parameters. You can view all these tasks on the Dashboard.

Configure applications workflow

Configuring a workflow requires the following steps to be done:

1. Configuring the stages

   Configuring a stage means defining all the tasks that are required for its completion.

2. Defining queues and members for the stages

   Queues and Members are the users associated with stages.
   

   Note:

3. Setting up Task Templates

   You need to define the tasks that are required to complete an application.

4. Setting up the Product Stage Task Association
   

   The tasks that are defined for an application need to be associated with stages.
