Reason Codes Setup
The Reason Code Definition option allows you to add reasons for adverse action that your organization wants to attach to the application
Configure Reason Codes
Prerequisites
None.
Steps
To configure reason codes:
Log in to your Salesforce account.
Go to (App Launcher) > Origination Configuration > Reason Code Definition, and select New.
In the New Reason Code window, provide the details as described in the following table, and then select Save:
Field Name Action and Information Reason Code Name Specify a name for the reason code to be configured.
For example, Duplicate Application Exists.
Description Specify a detailed description of the reason code. Reason Type Select Adverse Action. Parent Reason Select the id of the primary reason code with which you want to associate this reason code.
Note:To create a parent reason code, this field is not required.
