Creating the Launchpad custom tab

You can provide the Launchpad functionality to your users through a user interface by creating a custom VisualForce tab for the genesisExtn__Launchpad page.

Perform the following steps:

1. Log in to your Salesforce account.

2. Select Setup, and search for Tabs.

3. In the Custom Tabs page, scroll down to Visualforce Tabs and select New.

4. Select the Launchpad [genesisExtn__Launchpad] page.

5. Provide the Tab Label.

   For example, Launchpad. The system automatically updates the Tab Name.

6. Select a Tab Style and select Next.

7. Select the apps on which this tab must be visible, and the profiles that must have access to the tab.

8. Complete the remaining setup and select Save.
