Create Contacts
You can create a contact upfront, or at the time of creating an application. You can specify the basic details of the borrower, the relationship-related information, and the borrower's role in the current application. Contacts and accounts are created through the respective tab in the Q2 Origination application.
Q2 Originate version 2.1003 and later, treats a contact and account as the same entity - Account. For an individual borrower, the Account is the contact, and for a business, the Account is the business entity.

Steps
To create a contact:
Log in to your Salesforce account.
In the Lightning mode if you do not find the Contacts tab on the ribbon, then perform the following steps:
Select the Edit icon, and then Add More Items, as highlighted in the following image:
In the Add Items window, select All.
From the given list of items, select Contacts.
Select Add 1 Nav Item, and then select Save.
The Contacts tab is added to your ribbon.
On the Contacts tab, select New.
Specify the Contact Information as follows:
Specify the First Name and Last Name of the contact.
Select the Account Name if the contact belongs to a business.
Specify other contact details like Birthdate, Phone, Email, and Fax.
Select the Lead Source.
This indicates where the contact's lead was received from, such as a partner referral or a phone inquiry.
Specify the Address Information.
Specify any Additional Information, such as the contact's preferred language.
Provide a brief description of the contact, if required.
Select Save to create the contact.
Note:You can specify additional information once the contact is created, such as any opportunities or open activities, or any notes and attachments related to the contact.
